Zero network at CCNA exam

Hi Cisco gurus!

I just started my studies for CCNA exam. There are two sources for reading. One (Sybex) says that zero network choice is an illigal answer, the second (McGrawHill) uses zero networks as answers during subnetting exercises. Give me please advice if possible.

Sincerely, Eugene

There were a few questions on my exam in regards to this topic. Its something good to know but in the field no one does manual calcs, there are 3rd party s/w that does all that.
    What next?

Uh, you have to be joking. Please don't post about something that you don't know about. It just makes it harder for people who are learning.

I discourage the use of software and encourage manual calculations; that's what separates the apprentices from the experienced. Those with experience can do it in their head, or with a few simple calcs on a piece of paper.
