RIPng strange behavior?

tomislav91tomislav91 Member Posts: 59 ■■□□□□□□□□
Does it possible that I ping something, and in period of time 3,4 min, it is unreachable and request timed out?

I didn't wait all 30 hops, but same behavior is, and at the end, show destination IP and trace complete. But destination hos unreachable allways. But router show his route. It pings 2 PC from 4 at this network, but it does not make sense, all routes come through that router, and the second one.

RIP uses a default flush timer of 4 minutes. Does the router in the middle flap some RIP learned routes? If they continually enter the RIPng database and then expire, then come back, I would say that there is a misconfiguration somewhere.

Or maybe its just a weird PT bug?

Because i want someone to just take a look of my pkt file to look, am I wrong or don't. But I double check it.

This is the rest of my network, red is PC that don't ping. Black is static routes, and in routers are in redistribute static state.

But is weard that come to router, and request timed out, and tat again, how he doesn't know route, when it is present in router table

Look this, in period in 1,2 min. First, it doesn't ping, ok, i look tracert, and stops at some router, ok, went there, show ipv6 route, no all routes? Only few, then, check all in close of him, it's OK, check him again, it's OK, try to tracert again, it's OK, ping..Well, it's ok?

But no have sense, when go through same router, must past his. I don't know why only same address and request timed error showing..
