Changed Domain To Workgroup, Now Locked Out.
Hey guys, was wondering if anybody could help me out.
I have only been on the job for two months now. I got a work laptop that uses a domain. Today I changed it to workgroup to try and transfer some files and print to my home setup.
I changed from domain to workgroup and now i cant log on to my computer. I tried safe mode, and that doesn't work. Is there anyway to just reset it back to the domain so i can use my computer again? I'm sure that on Monday I can have one of the guys in the IT department take a look at it. I just don't want to be a newbie dumbass, I realize now that this was a stupid mistake and I should not have done this. But I would love some advice on solving this on my own. Thanks all.

You need to log on using a local admin account instead of a domain account. You won't be able to add the computer to the domain again unless you are connectect to the domain and have a domain admin account or the right to join computers to the domain.
And don't be too hard on yourself, it's not a biggie...
