Overlapping R&S 1.0 and R&S 2.0 certs?

I'm getting ready to take ROUTE. I probably will not get to SWITCH or TSHOOT before the refresh at the end of the year. I assume that ROUTE is ROUTE so even if I complete it under the 642 exam, I should only need to take the SWITCH and TSHOOT under the 300 exams, correct? I just want to make sure I'm not required to do either all 3 exams under 642 or 300 in order to obtain the CCNP. Thanks.

That is correct. Just make sure you compare the differences in the exam topics so you know what to study up on outside the book, as there are some noticeable eliminations, add ons, and increased depth in some topics.
