Most Sought-After and Respected Certs for SCM and Training Experience Enhancement?

I have about three years OTJ training/experience with SCM. At the same time, I was tasked with training both company and client personnel on a couple certain apps, spanning that same ~3 year period. I've never had any certifications, only an Associate's Degree and feel the need to enhance the opportunities available to me by doing a cert or two.

Does anyone have any feedback regarding what the most respected industry certs would be for Software Configuration Management and general corporate "Training"?
