Possible Refurbished processor sent to me?
I just ordered my new Pentium D 820 LGA 775 Chip and received it today. Well when i looked through the unopened clear plastic of the box the processor top is displayed. What caught my eye immediatley was slightly visible scratches ontop of the processor. The scratches resemeble a square, 99% sure it looks like a heat sink was mounted on it previously. My question is could this be a refurbished processor from intel? I purchased it new or could it be just from the testing procedures from the factory? I couldn't find no info online about this. Usually the processors I ordered before have no marks of use or scratches on them. Thanks

I Called them Intel today and there sending me a new one via next day air. So i guess everything works out, I was just shocked about that.
