Reverse Ip Lookup

Hi guys,

If i key in the ip address of a home user, it will only inform me which ISP it is using. Is it possible to narrow down the location where the ip address came from (east or west of the country etc)? if possible down to the street level?

You can't really track right down to the road but you could track down to the ISP. And from there you can contact them.

No...For example if the police wanted to track down a ADSL user they'd contact the ISP and the ISP would cross reference the details from their BRAS and DSLAM
