Well, a friend of mine let me borrow a 2514 to use studying for my CCNA.
I got the router home, connected up the console cable, powered up the router, "OK" light on router came on, but the telnet screen is blank.
I set hyper terminal the same as when we were in class, and also verified it by checking Cisco's site. It says connected, but just the cursor and no boot messages. Any ideas? I would really like to take advantage of this "free" router.
