Comptia International Voucher vs US Voucher, Pearson VUE, VAT

I planned on taking a CompTIA exam in the US with Pearson VUE and purchased a voucher through CompTIA. Due to work, I've had to travel outside of the US. I still have my US voucher and want to take the exam soon. I can access local Pearson VUE centers and the countries/centers near me are listed with CompTIA as International with USD currency. The cost of the exam on the International USD schedule is actually less than the US USD schedule. Has anyone dealt with this before? Will have to buy another voucher? I can wait to get back to the US to take the exam, but would rather take it soon because I recently studied for it.
Also, will I be charged an additional VAT on top of the voucher to take an exam?

If you have a Euro/UK/Australian/Indian or International voucher then you MUST use it in that country or countries that are specified on the voucher.
If you schedule the exam directly with Pearson VUE and you are in Europe then you will be charged extra VAT - UNLESS you buy an exam voucher at a place like GetCertify4Less or GraceTech Solutions.
You must be absolutely certain you have the right voucher for the country you are taking the exam in.
Check both of those links to see which one is cheaper for the exam you are taking.
Good Luck! -

For the extra VAT, I see how GraceTech notes "Reatil and On-Sale prices include VAT. When redeeming the voucher that you purchase from us for the exam, you don't have to pay any extra fees, such as VAT." This isn't true with vouchers from the CompTIA store? From your experience, do Pearson VUE centers generally accept statements like this from GraceTech (and others) or will I have to explain this to the center? -

Just buy the voucher for the relevant country you are taking the exam in and enter the voucher number on the Pearson VUE website and it will deduct the full cost price off leaving you with nothing extra to pay.
