What would yo do?

Where I work there are two companies responsible for hiring. First I worked four months hired by A. Then my contract expired and I was three months unemployed. Now I'm back at my old position, but hired by B. It's very probably that in a month (two max) I'll be again hired by A.

In a resume it would looks like (fast format, I'm on mobile):

Engineer @ A. Oct - Present
Doing this, this and this

Engineer @ B. Sep - Oct
Same as above

Engineer @ A. Jan - May
Same as above

So what would you do in this scenario? I've thought in three possible cases:

1) Lie about three months and put it all as one single job hired by A.
2) Don't put B, just A starting on September.
3) Put them all as they are, repeating every description and going for a two-pages length resumee with less than a year of experience.

If you did not change titles/positions I would keep it all under one. If you changed titles/positions than I would keep it all under one company but have separate sections for title/position held and highlights from that time.
    Modularity and Design Simplicity:

Think of the 2:00 a.m. test—if you were awakened in the
middle of the night because of a network problem and had to figure out the
traffic flows in your network while you were half asleep, could you do it?

I am sure your tasks and jobs are more than 10 lines in the resume. I would recommend to twist a little bit that seems to be differences because you have 2 months of gap. However, as for me, I put the same. I had interviewed asked why I left the company, I told them that my company lost the contract while new company picked me up with the same position.

    What do you think of:

    Engineer @A (Oct 2014-Present), @B (Sep 2014-Oct 2014), @A (Jan 2014-May2014)
    Doing this, this and that

This is what I put, I also include the client in the resume because that where I worked and gained experience. My employers only pay me in the rear, but not where I gained the experience or worked.

ok, I'm not getting hired back by A because I don't meet the new requisites of the client. What do you think is better...

    a) not to put neither A nor B, but the client. January to October. (lying about June, July and August)
    b) divide the duties. Put A from Jan to May with some duties, and put B from September to October with other duties. (not lying but two short-term jobs, unless it wasn't my fault... maternity leave and lost of project)

I was a rehire at my current job, and I've alwaysx kept them separate (now I have to, as they've changed names).

Make the descriptions accurate for what you did just during that period of employment, keep the two separate, and leave the 3 months blank
