IOS 8 Upgrade
Anyone run into any issues, per se? I did my 5S right at noon when the software was released, took about 20 minutes total. Now the iPad on the other hand, thats a different story. Download time later in the day took about the same amount of time, but once the software was downloaded and the install started, it was close to 90 minutes before it was finished on an iPad Mini w/retina 32gb. Anyone else experience anything weird?

tpatt100 Member Posts: 2,991 ■■■■■■■■■□I had issues with required space needed to install. I didn't find this out until today that if you update through iTunes on your PC or Mac then you don't need the 4-6 GB of space on your device. It wanted 6.2 GB on my iPad Retina Mini, 5.2 GB on my wife's 5s only my 5 had the space required.
So I did a local backup on my PC for all of them not noticing that it didn't ask for more space and the updates went fine.
Tried out "Continuity" for the voice calling feature and that worked fine. I made a call on my iPad to my wife's phone, she called me from her iPad and I was able to answer on my phone and iPad. -

+1 on SwiftKey...best aftermarket keyboard there is! Love it on my Galaxy S5 -
