Calling all software PM's or Developers
If you had to narrow 3 processes, project management tool (example story boarding) or communications what would you recommend? I am working with a team of developers and I am trying to make their life easier while improving our developmental cycle time. It's a relatively small team 4 developers. I am tracking project dependencies and activities through MS project and instead of some long drawn out project plan, we utilize a scope document that captures the business reason, high level deliverables, screenshots, (enhancement / functionality) and a notes section. They seem okay with that document and the GANTT chart. At first they were adverse to the GANTT but now are digging it because they are getting complemented on the completion of deliverables. I am making sure they are getting recognition. Any thoughts on tools or strategies to get the developers to continue to deliver?
