I would personally prefer the Cisco Security over Juniper. Also, this is in the wrong section.

The more important question is: Which one would be more beneficial to you? Would you rather start learning Cisco IOS or Junos first? Honestly, they have a somewhat similar feel (Even though Junos is based around FreeBSD), but why not check out both?

It depends on what you get to work with on a day-to-day basis. If you don't have much experience with either, then I always suggest doing Cisco first because of the quantity of study materials.

They are absolutely nothing alike, anyone who say's so has never worked with IOS and JunOS. Who is to say which one you should look at, you should start looking through each and make your own decision. You might find one easier than the other, who knows.
