ISIS uses 802.3/802.2 encapsulation

Since 802.3 doesn't support jumbo frames, what happens when i set my interface mtu above 1500, lets say 2000. IIH hello padding is enabled, so ISIS is sending jumbo frames, what does the l2 encapsulation look like?

Answer: It uses 0x8870 in the length/type field to indicate a jumbo with a LLC following.
