VCAP vs RHCE

Well, I thought I'd continue the recent trend of "vs" topics 
What would be suggestions and opinions given that I work with both vSphere and RHEL and hold junior certifications for both - vcp and rhcsa - now the vcp renewal is looming and I'm not quite sure what would be a better choice and ROI - just renew the vcp by passing the updated vcp exam on 5.5 and continue with rhce or try to achieve the vcap:dca and probably dcd and then attempt the rhce?
