How long do many certifications lasts until a new version comes out?

For example, the current version of the CCNA exam was released in late 2013. So when will the next CCNA come out? What about the CCNA Security, CCNP, MCSA, A+, etc.? If there is a website out there that lists timelines of various certification exams, I would appreciate it.

Cisco's old CCNA was released in 2007 I believe, VMware has different exams based on the version of the OS, Microsoft releases exams largely based on versions of software too.
You wouldn't state the version of CCNA on your resume, it adds nothing and creates confusion. And you wouldn't wait for the latest version to arrive before taking it, just go for it if it's an area you want to work in.

There is no standard time that they have set for releasing new exam versions. Microsoft and VMware do it every version change of their product. Cisco and CompTia do it after the technology has significantly changed.2019: GPEN | GCFE | GXPN | GICSP | CySA+
