Proxy server (Linux)
Any recommendations? Is Squid still a good option ?

I wish restarting the service was faster though.Hopefully-useful stuff I've written: http://kimiushida.com/bitsandpieces/articles/ -

It's pretty much the only option though unless you want to spend some money. -
Chivalry1 Member Posts: 569Squid is a good choose....i have supported Squid in a large production environment. However, the challenges around squid is the reporting. You can download the reporting pack "Calamaris". But its not very robust. When those business managers approach you about detail reports about where the employees are going...they will be sadly disappointed.
But if this is for a small environment where reporting not important, than Squid is solid."The recipe for perpetual ignorance is: be satisfied with your opinions and
content with your knowledge. " Elbert Hubbard (1856 - 1915)
