Zacker's Upgrading and Troubleshooting Networks - Complete R

I'm currently studying for my A+ OS after doing my HW exam and plan on taking my Network+ shortly after.

I have Zacker's "Upgrading and Troubleshooting Networks, The Complete Reference (2000)" published by Osbourne. It's an extremely detailed book and it comes highly regarded as a thorough Networking Text.

I was wondering if perhaps it's too thorough and how it compares to some of the more commonly referred to Texts recommended on this site.

I like Mike Myers Network+ All In One book. It's easy to read, without a lot of the confusing stuff, it covers the objectives, and it works. I passed first time. I also used the Technotes from this site, which are a great help as well....
