Good tools for diagnosing wireless issues
I am working on a a transient wifi issue, it only effects the wireless network of the business. The wired LAN is unaffected. For some background, the business is industrial in nature and has very large open spaces filled with tall metal racks and in other areas large machines that are ovens (possible microwaves?) and high frequency welding devices. It seems like a perfect storm for signal disruption.
When I read the CWNA AIO last year I remember it mentioned a few tools for analyzing and collecting data/metrics regarding wireless signals, strengths and such. I would like to find something like this and couple it with some Pcaps to start narrowing down issues, any recommendations? I can find tools all day long on google, but if there is a clear winner I would like to know
