Anyone have any AIX or Solaris videos that they'd recommend? Something along the lines of CBT Nuggets?
Or if not, any recommendations on primers for beginners?
I've had some (altho extremely limited) exposure to Linux, AIX, & Solaris. Just want some foundational study material so I can better understand the differences between the OSes.

Vask3n Member Posts: 517I would get a fundamental understanding of Linux since Solaris feels very similar to Linux albeit some new paradigms like zones and the way packages are installed/replicated across parent/child zones.
I think it would be easier/more beneficial to first master Linux then learn the differences as they are found in Solaris.Working on MS-ISA at Western Governor's University -

I used the Solaris 10 version of this and was quite satisfied. It wasn't the only thing I used though to get certified. I actually attended class as well, but these were good videos, though sort of dry, but I guess any technical subject can be.
