Intel RAID Controller Issue
CompuTron99
Hello,
I just came back from a meeting to the alarm sound of the RAID controller in my file server.
When I opened the Intel RAID Web Console, I found that the drive in SLOT4 is faulty. I also found that the drive in SLOT7 says "(Foreign) Unconfigured Good.
The Intel RAID controller is an SRCSASBB8I, and the server was a home built unit by a previous IT Manager.
I have attached the Logical and Physical Layouts of the RAID Controller. The virtual disk that has both Slot7 and Slot4 is a RAID6.
I want to correct the issue with SLOT7 before switching out the drive in SLOT4.
Can anyone send me in the right direction as to what to configure first?
Thanks.
