GNS3 IOU file names

Can anyone tell me the file names for an IOU image they have been able to use for switching.

I installed the beta months ago but did not get very far with the switching. I know I'll need a Layer 3 IOU but I have not started reading about CCNP yet so if I need a layer two image that name would be helpful also. I hope to try configure this next week and see how the official release works.

I don't know if GNS3 can use switches ios' s. It maybe routers only.

The new GNS3 which was in beta for most of the year and has now been released supports the unix IOU that runs Cisco switching without the hardware.
I won't pretend to know the technical aspects of it but the main restriction is that you need to be a corporate client that meets Cisco specifications to have access to the IOUs. Then I believe you run them in something like virtualbox and link them to GNS3.

I figured there were probably some members that have had success with setting it up and was just looking for their feedback on which IOUs they were able to work with.
