I'm sorry I am new here and sorry if this topic has been discussed already in depth. I keep running into conflicting information. My friend has a Testout account which has an active MCTIP certification course which he is no longer using. I was thinking of using it. It covers:
- Configuring Windows 7: 70-680
- Configuring Server 2008 Network Infrastructure: 70-642
- Windows Server 2008 Server Administrator: 70-646

The 70-640, 642, 643, 647, and one "elective" exam (70-620, 624, 680, or 681) will get you the MCITP Enterprise Administrator for Server 2008. I don't think you can get the MCITP:SA (70-640, 642, 646) anymore, but it has changed to the MCSA for Server 2008.
Here's more info:

Three exams make the MCSA for Server 2012:

And then two more make the MCSE:

You can upgrade the MCSA 2008 to MCSA 2012 by taking the 70-417.
