I've been lurking for about a year but not posted.
I took the exam for the first time today and passed. I spent a little under 3 hours on it and another 20 minutes reviewing flagged questions.
There's been helpful information from various people here, thank you.
My main resources were.
5 domains in the AIO by Shon before giving up on the overly verbose book
CISSP Study Guide by Conrad, Misenar, and Feldman
McGraw-Hill online practice exams
