Other EC-Council Certifications
Does anyone have experience with certifications other than the CEH/CHFI? I am looking at eventually getting the CEH eventually because I love the technical stuff, but what about the Network Security Adminstrator or Certified Encryption Specialist? I figure the CES would at least be good training for one of the CISSP concentrations.

JDMurray Admin Posts: 13,091 AdminIf you search back in this forum's postings, you might find one or two people that went the CEH->ECSA->LPT route. EC-Council actually offers over twenty other certs in IT and eBusiness, but I never see any posts about them.

cyberguypr Mod Posts: 6,928 ModEncryption on the CISSP is very high level. I don't think you'll need more than the major books provide. In the event that something doesn't stick you could supplement that particular area with web recources or other books. I don't think you'll see much ROI, if any at all. I haven't looked but I can't imagine this popping up much in any of the job boards.

I'll try to reach out to him and get his thoughts on it, if it has helped him, has value to him, etc.Working on: staying alive and staying employed
