CCP freezing when selecting anything in the 'configure' menu?

Anyone else run into this? I ran as administrator, got it to discover my device in GNS3, and am able to run utilities in the lower left hand corner like configuration editor, telnet, reload device, etc.

However when I go to the 'Configure' options on the GNS3 router, every option I try on their locks up internet explorer, though I don't otherwise see any issues with device discovery or anything. Anyone ever run into this?

So I honestly could not get 2.6 to work, even with enabling compatibility view and all the other troubleshooting steps on the net, so I downloaded 2.8 and it worked no problem.
