IP address prefix
Sup all,
I have been practicing SIMS for my test next Saturday and I noticed looking on the answer keys that the answers include the IP address and the prefix afterwards. I don't recall seeing it in Darill Gibson's study guide, and I searched through it to make sure I wasn't missing anything. I assume I'll need to know this information. Is it in the book somewhere and I just missed it, or does anyone know of where I can read up on it?
Thanks.
p.s. Yes I know I can google it lol but I'm looking for the best, well tested resource.

I recently tested and you don't need to know how to break the subnett down as far as the sims go, but its to your advantage to know it. Darril Gibson has premium content on his site to help with the sims, I would HIGHLY recommend you use his material for sim practice. however, the sims are very easy if you understand the underlying concepts such as: volatility, how to configure a firewall/WAP, software ports and whether you would use tcp/udp for the explained port number. here's a link to help you with understanding and implementing subnetts......
