301 vs. 401
keri2000
Hi Everyone:
I am certified for life, however I had the wrong email address on file with CompTIA so I never received the communication about the Security+ CE program and am unable to get into the program now without re-testing. I am required to have Security+ CE for my position. I am a bit confused why SY0-301 and SY0-401 are both available to test for. In accordance with DoD 8570 policy, it just lists Security+ CE. Is there a reason I should choose one over the other for my test? Is there a great difference between the two?
Thanks,
Keri

Did you ever take the 401 test? They retired the 301. I have to take the 401 for DOD also. Good luck.
