Cross Forest Trusts

Am i right in thinking that to enable a cross forest trust you must have both forest functional levels set to 2003 and all domain functional levels in both forests set to 2003 in order to work?

Help appreciated in clearing this up :D

    I may have mis-read your question, but here goes. To enable as you put, "cross forest trust" requires all forests be at Windows 2003 funtional level and all DCs must be running 2003.

    However you can still have an external trust between domains running lower functional level. You will just have to set up trusts manually.
