Aiming for Software Development. Have no previous official experience besides being the neighborhood computer tech, working at Staples (unfortunately) for a couple years, and playing around with coding since I was 13 (have not learned any language officially).
Want the cheapest way to get into the Software Development program so that they can foot the bill for my other certs. Was considering the CIW Javascript but I can't find any study materials and to buy the materials from CIW makes it cost more than any other cert. Unless I can find a study guide I won't go this route. I am working my way through Codecademy's course on Javascript, though. It is going pretty well besides some hiccups caused by them introducing new material without actually introducing it until after you are already forced to use it in the exercise.
