I gave paper based exam on 25th Oct and received results yesterday. Achieved 83% in first attempt. I found exam difficulty as average, but that doesn't mean that it was easy or will be easy. May be I was just lucky.
Study method I had -
1. Enrolled with Simplilearn (Online learning + Exam). They have 8 hour of online videos, which honestly I didn't find very helpful. If only they can make the videos interesting
I went with Simplilearn because they had very good offer, INR.18000 learning + exam (in GBP £180). And ofcourse you need to study through some accredited institute in order to give exam.
2. My friend had TrainSignal ITIL SO videos which he shared with me. Around 4.5 hours of videos which helped a lot. To the point. Twice I went through with these videos.
3. Solved 2 sample papers (16 questions) provided by Simplilearn. I solved it twice, in first try I scored badly but in second attempt scored around 90%. By this time I had good understanding of SO processes, functions etc. I marked each answer with 5, 3, 1, 0 score and mostly I got it right. These sample papers will give you the feeling of the exams which you are going to see in actual exam.
Well, I didn't get time to read actual ITIL book but I recommend to read atleast once.
On the exam day - started solving each scenario one by one, marked each answer with gradient score. Finished solving all the questions in 1 hour and then revisited again in last 30 min and just changed 1 answer.
Had to wait 2 weeks to get results and ultimately scored 83%.

FrankMat74 Member Posts: 40 ■■□□□□□□□□congrats vikrant- Instead of the ITIL SO I took the ITIL OSA. I did review a lot of the ITIL threads posted here, and one of the contributors directed people toward other ITIL Intermediate sources to help prepare.
The books, I purchased the set, and reviewed the material against the syl. -
