Hi All,
I am trying to use Hyper-V on windows 8 to "play with" different Linux types, however I am not able to configure networking correctly to allow the guests to access internet.
I googled the issue and it appears that this is a common issue that people face with Hyper-V but I was not able to fix it after following the instructions on various sites.
My setup is: Desktop computer with WiFi (Ethernet available), I tried with WiFI and Ethernet, in Both cases I could not get it to connect.
Thanks.

Any more information on the problem? -

This worked for Windows 10 but it is not working for Linux "Ubuntu in this case"
Any advise appreciated.
Thanks. -
Itrimble Member Posts: 221Your set up looks correct. Just to clarify, your WiFi works outside of Hyper-V? Also, have you actually configured the network card in Ubuntu ?

I downloaded 14.04 and it worked without any configuration changes! it even knew that it was being installed as a virtual machine.
I think some of the other operating systems that I tried to use can not work with my Wifi Card ..
