Hey guys,
So I'm using Acronis 11.5 and lets just leave it at that *cough*
If you were to use this to backup a vCenter-managed cluster would you need to install Acronis 11.5 on the vCenter appliance and use a plugin to connect the software to the vCenter appliance locally or would I need to install the software on the vCenter server with the plugin being on my Gaming desktop that has the vSphere plugin (if they even make a plugin)
In my case the vCenter server is a Dell Optiplex 7010 (i7-2600k, 16 GB's of RAM, and a RAID 0 300GB WD raptor array, 2 broadcom gigabit nic) with 2008 R2 (technet) with vCenter installed on it locally using SQL Express.
Hopefully someone has more expereince with Acronis on here than I do, I use Acronis at work but we've never used it with VMware only heard it's possible and integrates extremely well with vCenter and I want to learn how...
