Question I don't understand...

Hey guys i'm looking at this question and the answer doesn't make sense, if anyone can help please...
Configure GigSwitch1 with a /24 IP address for management...
My answer: Ip address 192.168.1.1 255.255.255.0
correct answer" Ip address 192.168.1.1 255.255.255.240 (doesn't this make it a cider of /28?)

/24 equals 255.255.255.0, so you're right there. Not sure why they gave a different mask. Are you using testing software? Sometimes there are some screwy answers here and there...

Ok thanks thats what i thought, but wasn't sure why it was giving me the wrong answer...
