Am I eligible to take the CEH exam?
Been studying for the past two months for the CEH v8 exam and am almost ready to take it, when I first shuffled through the requirements I didn't really notice the "2 years of work in information security field", I just thought that it would require an eligibility form which is basically a 100$ if I didn't attend an official training
Anyways, I am actually a network engineer, who administers the Firewalls, IPS/IDS and the McAfee SIEM (SIEM for network related devices) so yes I am in the security field but am not in the Information Security section, am in the Network section!
Am I eligible to take the exam in this case?

If you are working as an InfoSec professional, that will suffice. You can get a second opinion on this, by sending an email to EC-Council.OSCP: Loading . . .
