VMware HCL List: Hard Drives?

Does VMware list individual hard drives on their HCL? I searched and couldn't find an answer to this. As well, I couldn't find any hard drives on various hcl searches, so I'm assuming the answer is no.

Vsphere rarely ever accesses a hard drive directly. Instead, disks are accessed through RAID/SAN controllers, so there's not a real need to include certified hard drives on the HCL.
