vSRX Firefly vmdk straight on qemu

With latest GNS3 and Qemu, now we can apply vSRX Firefly vmdk file straight as a image.
It launches.
But I only see loopbacks. If I increase the number of adapters, only loopbacks increase.
Anyone done anything differently?

why not just run vSRX on ESXi?
works good for me. Add/remove vNICs like any other virtual host.
