Is GIAC the most credible certification set to have next to CISSP? I know it is extremely expensive, but when I do searches on Dice, Monster, CareerBuilder, etc., that is listed as much as if not more than anything else. I see everything from GSEC and up. A lot of GSEC, which is good to me since that is just their intermediate cert above GISF. Any thoughts? Especially from anyone that holds any one of their certs?

They are very credible, and I've definitely seen an uptick in organizations searching for certified professionals to help strengthen their security posture. A lot of organizations are looking for the GSEC as the 'standard' certification to have, but I'm seeing more specifically ask for GCIH / GCIA skill sets as well.
