Grants/Scholarships?
Greetings Folks,
Just curious if anyone knew of any grants/scholarships for SANS training? I'm a small-town cop who's interested in adding a bit of cyber capability to our wee town, so I imagine there's gotta be some DOJ/DHS money out there somewhere.
However, so far my searches have turned up nothing.
I was hoping some one out here could point me in the right direction?

DHS has some grants, but I am not sure how to apply to them, only that a former employer used DHS money to buy some gear. Might be part of EOC in some way?
You may be able to join Center for Internet Security - Multi-State Information Sharing and Analysis Center - and they offer pretty good discounts on SANS sometimes.
And, you might also look into the SANS work study program as well. -

Work study is good and EH-Net Online Mag - Free Online Magazine for the Security Professional occasionally has competitions that award free courses.
