Experience, cumulative or full years in each domain?

The CISSP for example, I've always understood the 5 years experience required could not be cumulative from several of the domains, e.g. you couldn't have 6 months experience in all 10 domains for a total of 5 years. It had to be a full 5 years in one domain and full 5 years in another domain, for at least 2 domains.

Is this wrong?

The format of the work experience page on the endorsement form makes me think you can add together small amounts of experience in the domains until you're at a minimum of 5 years.

Also on the SSCP information page.
For the SSCP certification, a candidate is required to have a minimum of one year of cumulative paid full-time work experience

Thirdly, the wording of the endorsement form if you were to be endorsed by someone already certified with ISC2.
At the end of the process, the total number of months denoted as “Valid Experience” must be totaled and must equal the number of years required for the specific certification (60 months for the CISSP, 24 months for the CAP, 48 months for the CSSLP, 12 months for the SSCP, 36 months for the CCFP)
