Tips for success:
Darril Gibson's book - Yeah, it's that good. Seriously. I read it cover-to-cover right before the exam and it seemed like I was still studying while taking the exam.
Career Academy Training - I bought a package a couple months ago on a Groupon to get accredited training and CEU's. I wasn't expecting much but watching the training videos a month ago did help.
Numerous and various online practice exams: Take as many as you can. Get used to how they word the questions and how some questions are presented. Case in point, visual questions have a different GUI interface than examples you find.
Networking self-study: I've been studying for lots of networking certifications and it really helped. Know your ports and connection/protocol types.
A good understanding of enterprise IT - in general, period. If you don't have a substantial and wide breath of knowledge regarding all aspects of enterprise IT - it will be tough.
