CISSP PASSED 08-01-2015...First Time
Hello everyone... i am silent reader of this forum since long time from the day i decided to appear for CISSP exam ...I am very pleased to let all of you know that i have Passed CISSP exam on 08 jan 2015 with first try.....
i have learnt lots of things from this knowledgeable forum regarding preparing and appearing for this very tough IT certs in Information security Domain.
I decided for this exam almost two years back & bought the Shon harris 5th edition ,but due to some personal issues i couldnt go on .
From last year in the month of Sep 2014 i stared again my reading & finally book the exam and cleared on 8 jan.
My Background: i am having a almost 8+ years of experience in core networking & security domain with a degree in Information technology engineering.with a bundle of others network certificates i.e CCNA, CCNP, ITILV3, CEH, JNCIA,JNCIS, MCP.
My reading materials:-
1.) Shon Harries AlO 5th Edition.
2.) Eric cornard CISSP study guide.
3.) 11 th hour Study .
Short notes:-
1.) Prepared by myself.
2.) sunflower pdf ( found from this fourum).
3.) Combined notes ( found from this fourum).
4.) CBK domain notes from Syed Asad Ali ( found from this fourum).
Practice Test:-
1.) CCURE paid version.
2.) Macgraw hills website .
3.) skillset .
4.) Total Tester.
Exam experience:-I managed to finish my exam in 5 hours 50 minutes .. took two unscheduled break in between 100 & 200 question .Spent last 100 minutes for reviewing my flag question . i have flag almost 30 question & changed my answer for 8-9 question.Got variety of questions from almost all domains .. without intense reading & knowing the material no one can give the perfect answer.
Now moving on a endorsement second part for achieving the certs.wishing best of luk for all the CISSP aspirents.&
