Questions about Computer Tech Job

I'm currently a full time student at a local community college and need a job to save up some money, I'd say I have a lot of experience with computers and software, having built my own PC and the fact that I've been on the computer since I was 8 years old. The job is just a temporary job for this small facility building where I live. It's a fairly small town. It doesn't require any certificates or anything but training is preferred. My question is if I should apply for this job or is there a lot to the job that requires training?
Job description is as follows :
Appropriate certification/training as required
Experience with Software, Hardware, Networking,
and other Technology Issues
Specific Duties as assigned by Supervisor
and/or Superintendent

A computer tech job could be anything from help desk to jr programmer? -

If you have experience installing operating systems, tell them so and mention which ones. You built your computer, leverage that as experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues. I'm sure you had something that was weird during the install, or required you to dig around in the BIOS.
It sounds like the typical small business office where you fix printers and basic stuff like system upgrades. They typically don't require extensive training, but if your degree is in IT, mention you're in school for that field.
Good luck! -
