Bug hunter, expliotation hunter, post analysis? Which one?

From reading your post it seems like you want to be an intrusion analyst, hunting hackers on the network, is that correct? I'd recommend becoming familiar with attack methods and the processes that different types of malware follow. A really interesting site for this is contagiodump.blogspot.com. This site has a PCAP archive of APT and crimeware traffic that you can analyze with network forensics tools. It's pretty interesting stuff. I currently work as an intrusion analyst, and PCAP analysis is my bread and butter.
