My personal opinion - even though you're probably running MS stuff at your job - is that much of the present-day and future developing infrastructure is tied to open proprietary/source-based technology. With that in mind, I would say go for it but you never know how long MS technologies are going to be relevant before another version comes out due to greed/vulnerabilities. CHFI is cool but it's more of a niche - maybe try CISSP, CISM, CASP? Also, Linux and more specifically - RHEL/CentOS - pretty much has the stranglehold of the enterprise right now so it's pretty important.
