Score needed to pass?

Why do I see so many different passing score requirements around? This site says 554, others have 646, and I even saw 752 (83%). What's up with that?

Thanks,
Jim

The 554 (scale 100-900) we have listed on our Network+ page is correct. The information is publicly available on the website of comptia.

You shouldn't worry about it too much. If you know the material, then you should easily pass such a low score. If not, it just shows you need to study much much more. CompTIA exams are pretty forgiving, so give it your best shot.

The older version of the test (2005 and before) was 646. The current version of the test (2005 and later) is 554. :) I know because I took the older and newer tests (failed the older one).
