Passed 70-687, curious about how in-depth 688 is

Hey all,
I passed my 687 yesterday with a 775 which I'd have liked to been higher but considering I was nervous and expecting to fail, I'm happy with that. I plan on doing the 688 in the next couple of months. How much more in-depth is it compared to the 687? What kind of resources did you use that helped?
For the 687 I used CBT Nuggets and the book by Joli Ballow along with setting up my home lab. It took me three months time to complete but I procrastinate a lot so if I calculated my time I actually spent on it it'd be around a month or so.
So far I'm still on my 1st attempt passed for all my certs so hoping to continue that trend
