CCDA / CCDP Arch Requirements

Hi,
Having recently passed my CCNP R+S, I was going to start the CCNP Sec track, but my career may be going down the design / project route,
now will my existing CCNP, allow me just to take the Arch exam and get CCDP? (Im asking because the route and switch for CCNP have now changed)
Has anyone ever done Arch exam without studying the CCDA material? Cisco isnt very clear on this..
Thanks

You will have to get the 640-864 DESGN even if you get the ARCH.

OK, so my route and switch (old version 2014) will still count towards the CCDP?
