Hey guys,
so I use a Qnap Ts-420 at home and it's great for Vmware. However I'd really like a Equalogic for work but there are freaking out about a 25k Equalogic 4200 so I'm looking for a comparable solution.
I'm settling on these babies, and I was curious if any of you guys use QNAP NAS's in enterprise solutions for VMware.
1) TS-1279U-RP :: QNAP
or
2) TS-1679U-RP :: QNAP
here is a IOPS graph for each model:QNAP Systems, Inc. - Network Attached Storage (NAS)
I'm basically waiting for the Dell dpack to come back that will help gauge which one to get. I'm without a doubt getting another Dell R720xd to round out the cluster and each server will have 128 GB's of ram, 96 gb's is needed with current load. thoughts.
