Best Switch for a SAN switchiing fabric
Hey guys,
I personally like HP Procurves for all my networks including SAN's but what model switches do you guys use for SAN's? - Nexus, 2960s, 3750X's, Dell N3048's, HP Procurves, etc.

I mean think about it, some of the packets/frames you get could be huge and if you traditionally get large **** of data this could bottleneck a low throughput fabric. Additionally, you need to know if this is a batch or FIFO based SAN. What I mean by that is do you fill a buffer and **** or is it a constant stream of data. This effects the SAN as well.Read my blog @ www.buildingautomationmonthly.com
